To my Friends and Neighbors in Cameron Park, Thank You for this opportunity to share my hopes and vision for the Cameron Park Community with you. This year our District is facing many of the challenges of past years, including struggling property taxes, a Bond Financed Community Center unable to pay for itself, and budget plans to spend more in operating income than the District will earn. The majority of the Board continues to approve spending beyond the District’s ability to pay making Cameron Park residents vulnerable to new taxes. I have advocated and will support a balanced budget with measured spending cuts and a detailed, attainable plan for increased revenues for our District.
I am a County Budget Management Analyst with 25 years of experience, successful in financial and leadership roles throughout both my professional and personal life. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from CSUS and completed Leadership Academy and Total Quality Management programs. I served on the School Site Counsel at Latrobe School District as President and member for 4 years.
I’ve lived in Cameron Park for 8 years and Latrobe for 17. I’m a mother of two and I’ve been married for 38 years.
